When we present information, we often have a purpose. We may want our recipients to remember what we say or be influenced by it, or maybe act based on what we say. To change and influence people is of course not easy, but by having good knowledge of the techniques around a presentation, we can make life much easier for ourselves. But then there’s another factor, which we cannot influence but which we can adjust to.

In my opinion, nowadays presentation is not only a common feature of working life in many companies but also an effective method of teaching in many schools. And most of people are already acquainted with this new method. However, many people are still embarrassed when giving a presentation because they do not know exactly how to make a good presentation

We have to prepare your presentation thoroughly. We should begin sketching out the presentation first. And most presentations have three main parts including introduction, body and conclusion. Therefore, we should structure our talk clearly and logically so that the audience can understand it more easily. Next, we will focus on only a few important points if we intend to design our talk by PowerPoint. The last thing is to make a list of questions we expect to be asked at the end of the presentation. If we prepare this first step well, we will have the key of a good presentation.

Therefore, before starting the talk, we should begin getting the audience's attention quickly because the first few minutes of a presentation are extremely important. During the talk, we should repeat the main points to help our audience to remember them. Furthermore, we should use our voice effectively in order that the audience can follow us.

However, in order to make a good presentation, we will be well prepared for our talk. Besides, we should make eye contact often with the audience as well as use body language effectively. And we have to always summarize the main points at the end of the talk.

Often we like what we are talking about, sometimes we are even passionate about the subject. But remember that it is seldom the same thing for the recipients.

Essay ; is about Cross-cultural communication


Why do many countries have different communication? We all know the importance of communication in our daily live. Nothing can take place without some method of communication being used to express ourselves for whatever purpose. Nowadays, we might be living in a global world but nonverbal communication in different cultures shows such drastic difference that you might get the feeling that we are from different planets. If you are working on a multi-cultural project, it’s important to understand these differences. However in my opinion, it is reasonable if we do some communication between different cultures, especially when we do business in different countries.

Each culture has its own rules about proper behavior which affect communication. For example Italy and Britain have a conversation form as a part of the entertainment. In this situation when there is a long talking, if someone break the talking for a moment other person will consider what has been said quietly before to be continue that.

Moreover, effective communication with people of different cultures is especially challenging. Cultures provide people with ways of thinking. For example Finland and Japan, when you have a conversation with someone who has an English language, they are often attend and try to interpret what you have just said then they will keep talking about that.

On the other hand, every country has its own codes of decorum. For example Anglo-Saxons, they are normally to use first names promptly when they have a letter or fax or telephone call. Although to be much less accepted in the rest of Europe and Asia where even in a business.

People coming from different countries may not find comfort in communicating or coordinating easily with one another. When people from different countries come together, their way of thinking varies. Some might be shy to communicate, while others open for communication. Owing to the difference in their cultural backgrounds, there is a difference in their upbringing, due to which there's a difference in their views and beliefs. Even the communication etiquette differs across the different countries. Of these things will be easier to communicate, just you have a sense of consideration and good intention for your conversation.

Mr.Nanimi: as quickly as possible. Because of it have an affect on my job.

  I'll send an new engineer fot repairing within a day.
Mr.Nanimi: Yes, as soon as possible, I hope.
  I don't have much time. Thank you for your service.
Mr.Carr : You're welcome.

Solution
The main idea is my engineer can't work his job because he just got a first job. I'll send an new engineer fot repairing within a day.
